This August, TES Community proudly launched the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) Programme – a summer initiative designed to engage, inspire, and nurture children in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
At TES Community, we believe every child deserves access to quality educational experiences that go beyond the classroom.
Our Young Explorers are taking part in a variety of exciting activities that blend learning, creativity, and fun:
- Creative Arts – encouraging self-expression through colourful and imaginative art projects.
- Digital Skills – exploring computer coding and animation, from moving the school tour bus to creating their fun designs.
- Healthy Eating – learning nutrition in a hands-on way by preparing their colourful fruit kebabs.
These activities don’t just entertain, they equip children with skills for life, build their confidence, and help them feel seen, valued, and supported.
Programme Details
Dates: Monday 11th – Thursday 14th August 2025 & Monday 18th – Thursday 21st August 2025
Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm daily
Venue: Churchside Walk ODD 61–77 Common Room & Community Space, opposite Stockbrook Field.
Ages: 8–16 years

Week Highlights – TES Community HAF Summer Programme
Here’s a look at some of the joyful moments from our Young Explorers this week:
- Creative Arts in Action – Children proudly showing their hot-air balloon artwork and other colourful creations.
- Coding & Animation Fun – Young minds programming animations, from moving the school tour bus to designing playful characters.
- Fruit Kebabs & Healthy Eating– Children preparing colourful fruit kebabs, learning how fun and tasty healthy eating can be.
- Team Games & Sports – Football matches, ping pong showdowns, and team challenges that sparked new friendships.
- Talent Show Moments – Singing, dancing, magic tricks, and other unique performances.
